TEST PREP TUTORING

IT SEEMS LIKE ONLY YESTERDAY that your child was entering high school as a freshman.  Fast forward 3 years and you couldn’t be more proud of the person they have become. They have achieved high grades in all their classes, made it onto the varsity team and they even participated in school volunteer programs. Your child is an exceptional student, and yet one last obstacle stands in the way of their future.

The ACT Test

The ACT can feel like the Olympics of academic achievement, and so can the pressure.

A high score leads to doors of opportunity as well as sufficient financial gains, while a low score leads to dead ends. You know how important this test is to your child’s future and yet you can’t understand how they could not be performing better.  They took all the advanced courses. They did all their homework. Why can’t they get a high score on this test?

WHAT’S THE PROBLEM?

I’m going to let you in on a little secret the administrators don’t want you to know.  Obtaining a solid score on the ACT is not all about learning the content. Surprised? What they don’t want you to know is that to ace this test you need a balance of two things; SPEED and FOCUS.  I teach students how to use active engagement techniques that boost student performance and reduce the chance for careless errors.
